2024 YEAR IN REVIEW: HOT TO GONE with a dash of HOT TO GO AGAIN

We saw some fire #HamOnt homes come and go this year, along with some that didn’t sell but that we can all expect to be ‘hot to go’ again in 2025.

Admittingly, 2024 was not a banner year for Hamilton’s housing market, but that didn’t stop some A+ classic homes from finding new stewards. See my TOP 10 list below!

And if you missed out, don’t fret as second chances exist. Us real estate stalkers know there were some jaw-droppers that didn’t get scooped. Keep them in your ‘cart’ and keep them H-O-T-T-O-G-O.

Which will be the one…your new addiction?

All this #HamOnt eye candy is 100% non-fiction.

I don't want the world, but I'll take this city.

Who can blame a buyer? Our brick is hot and gritty!

2025 Outlook from Doug Folsetter, of Folsetter & Associates

We’re expecting a reasonably balanced market heading into 2025 with more buyers taking advantage of the lower interest rates and sellers responding to the stronger market.

For buyers, there will be plenty of inventory.  Stick to your budget, be realistic about what your budget affords and, be patient, the right home is out there.

For sellers, there will be plenty of new buyers coming (back) to the market.  Price your home realistically, make sure that it stands out with expert marketing and be patient - homes take little longer to sell but the good ones will sell!

If you’ve been dreaming of a home with charm, character, and a story to tell, next year’s going to be packed with amazing options. And we can’t wait to help you discover your perfect piece of Hamilton history!
