BACK ON THE MARKET

42 OSLER DRIVE, DUNDAS ONTARIO
CIRCA 1827

This place has amazing curb appeal...looks like a beautiful English country house with its shutters and gabled roof line. I was intrigued when it first came on the market nearly two years ago. In fact, when we sold our house we seriously considered purchasing it. We loved the large treed lot with the house set far back from the main street in beautiful Dundas. We also loved the wide plank floors, the huge screened in porch and the private outdoor oasis with small plunge pool and ample deck space. But our dislikes outweighed these likes. The place was "too charming". Low beamed ceilings, small bedrooms, awkward angles/roof line on the second floor and a dingy field stone fireplace with wood paneling in the family room. No to mention a plunging ravine right off the backyard (albeit stunning views). I truly loved the outdoor space but the inside fell flat. I can still appreciate however that this is a unique house in a great neighbourhood AND with tons of potential. I hope someone falls in love with it this time so this FRESH BRICK doesn't go stale.

Currently offered at $489,999 on realtor.ca
